Be a volunteer driver…..
Volunteer drivers make such a big difference to those who are unable to drive or use public transport and find it difficult to get around.
With an ever increasing client base, we are always looking for new drivers to join the team.
Drivers use their own vehicle to transport clients to their essential appointments. Drives can be booked to fit in with your own schedule, whether its a local drive once a week, occasional extended drives, or regular drives to a variety of locations, there is a way that you can help!
There is no minimum commitment and no obligation to accept a drive. One drive per week may be a help to someone living near you.
Drivers receive 45p per mile driven, full office back up, additional (non compulsory) training courses and a wonderful sense of giving something back to the community!
If you are interested in joining the team, please contact your local office or click the link below to access an application form.

Or Be a Car Scheme Administrator?
Our car scheme volunteer administrators are invaluable to the service, supporting the office Manager and volunteer drivers as well as our clients in order to provide the best possible service. Duties include answering the phone and taking details of request, contacting the volunteer drivers, checking their availability and booking the drive(s) on the system. Our administrators often build relationships with our clients and are able to offer a friendly and supportive voice at the end of the phone.
This role is suitable for anyone who is looking to refresh their administrative skills, learn something new, or is just looking to give something back to their local community. Full training and support is provided.
