HVC were delighted to be sponsored by the MG Owners Club as the recipient this year for funds raised by their annual Snowdrop Run. This was thanks to having been nominated by MGOC committee member Glenn Pascoe, partner of our admin volunteer Monica. Over 100 classic MG’s gathered at Anglesey Abbey last Saturday for the drive to Jordans Mill at Biggleswade.
On the previous afternoon MGOC committee member David Coventry and HVC Trustee Anthony Clarke were interviewed on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s Louise Hulland show which was a great opportunity to tell listeners about HVC’s community car schemes. You can listen to the interview by by clicking here. The interview begins at 2 hours 47 mins.
Anthony and fellow Trustees Jenny Clarke and Dennis Camilleri manned a stall at Anglesey Abbey as drivers arrived for their bacon butty breakfasts before the start of the event. We were able to meet several of the MGOC committee and drivers and are very appreciative of their friendly support. Anthony looks forward to meeting them again at the MGOC monthly meeting on 4th March for the presentation of a cheque.
