In April 2026, the Huntingdonshire Volunteer & Car Scheme attended a community awareness event in the atrium at Hinchingbrooke Hospital alongside other volunteer organisations. The event was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the vital transport support the scheme provides across Huntingdonshire and to encourage new volunteers to get involved. Visitors were able to meet the team, learn more about volunteering opportunities, and find out how the scheme helps local residents stay connected to essential appointments and services.
