We were delighted to be part of the Huntingdon Armed Forces Weekend on 27–28 June 2026 at Sapley Playing Fields.

It was a fantastic opportunity for Huntingdonshire Volunteer Centre to meet so many members of the local community, connect with other organisations, and share information about the support and volunteering opportunities we provide across Huntingdonshire. We enjoyed speaking with current and prospective volunteers, supporting clients, and highlighting the many ways people can get involved in their community.

The annual Huntingdon Armed Forces Weekend is a wonderful free community event that commemorates the service and sacrifice of past and present Armed Forces personnel. Alongside military and emergency vehicle displays, live entertainment, craft stalls, family activities, and local businesses, the event brings generations together and provides an accessible day out for everyone.

A huge thank you to the organisers for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful and well-supported community celebration. We look forward to returning next year!
